Central Florida, By the Numbers

See what your move could actually look like.

Real, sourced numbers on home values and state income tax, side by side with Central Florida. Not a sales pitch, just the actual math, so you can see for yourself before you talk to us.

Not a Sales Pitch, Just the Math

A quick note before you dive in. These numbers are general and illustrative, pulled from public sources (cited at the bottom of this page) as of mid-2026. They are not an appraisal of any specific property, not a quote, and not tax or financial advice. Home values shift by neighborhood and month, and your own tax situation depends on your income, deductions, and filing details. Use this to get an honest general sense of the picture, then talk to us (or your CPA, for the tax side) for numbers specific to you.

Where this data comes from

Home Values

The Zillow Home Value Index (ZHVI), a smoothed measure of typical home values for the 35th to 65th percentile of homes in a given area. Pulled mid-2026. Zillow updates this monthly, so current figures may have moved since.

State Income Tax Rates

The Tax Foundation's 2026 state individual income tax rate data. Top marginal rates are shown, meaning the rate on the highest slice of income, not necessarily your effective (actual average) rate. Some states listed, like Massachusetts and Connecticut, only apply their top rate above a high income threshold.

Why We Show Our Sources

We'd rather you trust the numbers because you can see where they came from, not because we said so. If anything here looks out of date, tell us, we'll fix it.
